Father Martin J. Scholsky – Council 1155

HISTORY

Our Council, Fr. Martin J. Scholsky Council No. 1155, was founded in 2009 at the request of Father Kevin Cavanaugh, the pastor of Assumption and St James churches, which were linked at the time. Father Scholsky was baptized at St. James church in 1930. He served as a priest for the Archdiocese of Hartford until his passing from this life. He was a true champion of Eucharistic Adoration and an enthusiastic teacher to generations of Seminarians. We are grateful for his example and patronage.
